Villa Cerna Chianti Classico Riserva 2016 1500ml

Travelers journeying from Siena into Chianti Classico are welcomed by the historic Villa Cerna winery, overseen by the Cecchi Family, who are now in their fifth generation leadership in Tuscany.
Located 280 meters above sea level, the Villa Cerna vineyards bask in ideal sun exposure from the picturesque valley leading to Castellina in Chianti. The soil, adorned with stones and a middle dough alkaline presence, yields 4 tons per hectare with a vine density of 5,000 vines per hectare, managed through spurred cordon pruning.
The winemaking process is steeped in tradition, featuring skin contact in a temperature-controlled environment. Fermentation and maceration extend for 15 days at 26°C. Aged for 14 months in barriques and small barrels, with an additional 9 months in the bottle at a minimum. The result is the Villa Cerna Chianti Classico Riserva, boasting floral aromas and a harmonious balance of acidity, tannins, and alcohol.
This distinguished red wine pairs with cheese, charcuterie, caprese salads, grilled vegetables, poultry, and red meat.
