In the heart of Umbria’s Montefalco appellation is Tenuta Alzatura, an estate the Cecchi Family invested in at the end of the 1990s. Aria di Casa is a Montefalco Bianco DOC made from 100% Trebbiano Spolentino. Situated at an elevation of 370 meters above sea level, the vineyards boast a mixed structure soil, and the vines are trained on guyot. The vinification process takes place in oak, followed by an aging period of 10 months in oak barriques and a minimum of 6 months in the bottle. In its bouquet, Aria di Casa combines the crisp essence of wildflowers with toasted notes of hazelnuts. This combination is complemented by a distinctive mineral touch, characteristic of the variety. Pair with fish soups, poultry, and medium-aged cheeses. The winery has been certified organic since 2021, and the deep care of the vineyards with organic agriculture and winemaking methods emphasize the quality of the varietals from this estate.
