Palazzo Nuovo Chianti Classico Riserva 2017 750ml

Palazzo Nuovo Chianti Classico Riserva showcases Sangiovese grapes cultivated in vineyards with Southeast exposure at altitudes ranging from 200 to 295 meters.
The unique terroir, characterized by alkaline clay soils dating back to the Pliocene era, imparts distinct qualities to the grapes. Grown in rocky soils, the grapes undergo traditional temperature-controlled, skin-contact fermentation for 21 days at 18-20°C, with minimal pumping overs to ensure balanced extraction.
After fermentation, the wine is aged for 12 months in 225 liters barriques, including 5% new barrels. Radiant ruby red wine with captivating aromas. Matured red fruit notes intertwine with hints of lavender and spiced tobacco. On the palate, the wine reveals balance, with silky and vibrant tannins contributing to a refreshing experience, concluding in a lingering finish.
Pairs seamlessly with cheese, charcuterie, caprese salads, grilled vegetables, poultry, and red meat.
