In 1969 Joe Heitz produced the inaugural vintage of Lot C-91 as a more premium version of his already iconic Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon, sourced exclusively from the sought-after Single Vineyards of Heitz Cellar. 1969 was the only vintage ever produced – until Winemaker Brittany Sherwood found inspiration in the origin story after uncovering the remaining bottles in the library.
