Berlucchi 61 Saten Nv 750ml

Nestled in the alpine foothills near Lake Iseo, Berlucchi '61 Saten embodies the essence of Franciacorta, where vineyards experience humid summers cooled by gentle breezes, and winters find solace in the protective embrace of the lake. This unique microclimate creates the perfect conditions for grapes to flourish, retaining their natural acidity.
The grapes are lovingly harvested during the middle ten days of August to the first ten days of September, producing an average yield of 9000 kilograms per hectare. The winemaking process begins with a delicate pressing of grape clusters, meticulously fractioning the must, and conducting alcoholic fermentation in stainless steel vats.
After assembly in the spring following harvest, the wine undergoes a second fermentation in the bottles, maturing sur lie for a minimum of 24 months, and culminating with an additional 2 months of aging after disgorgement.
Berlucchi '61 Saten reveals an intense straw-yellow hue with a captivating bouquet of peach, apricot, tropical fruit, and subtle hints of candied citrus. Its palate boasts tangy acidity and savory flavors, underpinned by a full and firm structure. The wine concludes with a clean-cut, lingering finish, offering a rare and delightful sensory experience.
This versatile sparkling wine pairs seamlessly with a wide range of dishes. From goat and cheddar cheeses to asparagus, squash, lentils, shellfish, seafood, poultry, and barbecue selections, it is the perfect companion for your culinary journey. Presented with a natural cork enclosure, Berlucchi '61 Saten encapsulates the spirit of celebration and the joy of good times.
