Argentiera's Poggio ai Ginepri Bianco is a captivating expression of white wine in Tuscany. Crafted with precision, each varietal – Vermentino (90%) and Sauvignon Blanc (10%) – undergoes destemming, pressing, and separate vinification in stainless steel tanks for 15-20 days at 28°C. The wine then takes a divergence; half ages in 225-litre French and Hungarian oak barrels for malolactic fermentation, while the other half refines in stainless steel tanks. After 8 months of aging, the distinct blend is bottled. Pear, banana, and apricot dance on the palate, complemented by spicy floral notes reminiscent of sage and lavender, along with a slightly salty and mineral finish. Pairs seamlessly as an aperitif with cheeses, nuts, salads, seafood, shellfish, and white meat.
